This is an amazing time to be joining the Urban Outfitters team in Europe! With 36 stores across the UK, Republic of Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Germany and Belgium we are determined to become bigger and better than ever and have more of our legendary store openings up our sleeves over the next 12-24 months!
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Menswear Department Manager to join our team within our stunning Leeds store. Commercially focused you will use your retail expertise to drive sales across the department whilst ensuring that our unique concept is communicated to each of our customers. A dynamic leader you will coach, motivate and inspire your teams to deliver exceptional customer service, at the same time as driving productivity by ensuring operational excellence within your department.
THE ROLE
As Department Manager for this fab store you will be responsible for;
Assuming total accountability for sales, service, profitability and loss prevention of the Womenswear department.
Coaching, developing, and motivating your team to deliver exceptional customer service to our valued customers
Maximise departmental sales through analytical and creative management of merchandise
Utilise Company reports to react to trends and drive sales on our unique product
Assisting senior management with all general store operations
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
To apply for this role you must have previous management experience, either at departmental level within a larger, high turnover store or as an Assistant Manager within a traditional high-street retailer. We are looking for people who love our brand as much as we do, and who have a proven track record of developing their teams to deliver exceptional results.
