Little Tokyo: Japanese.
[Eat in]
24 Central Rd, LS1 6DE
Always been a favourite among friends. It's reasonably priced, delightful staff, good atmosphere and surroundings, varied menu and super friendly vegetarian and vegan options. Everyone's happy.
Kada's: Arabian, Iranian and English.
[Eat In / Take Out]
3–5 Crown St, LS2
This place never seems to shut. Day or night it's the perfect place to stop for one of their renowned flat beds. Be prepared to wait for your order as it's a popular joint. The secret is out.
The Grove Café: Indian.
[Eat In / Take Out]
133–135 Cardigan Rd, Headingley, LS6 1LJ
It's very rare you find a restaurant with a take out option that supplies such top quality Indian food and pizzas under the same roof with a wide range of veggie options to boot. The sting in the tail is that after a hard night out in the city they'll deliver your order direct to your front door. Perfect.
The Art's Café
[Eat In]
42 Call Ln, Leeds, LS1 6DT

This place is set somewhere between a high-end cafe and a French style 'early evening' bistro. It is a beautiful environment that is perfect for meeting friends or for taking that special someone. It has friendly staff, reasonable prices and a cracking menu that supplies the demand to meat eaters and veggies.
Milo
10–12 Call Ln, LS1
Still one of my faves since the day it opened. You won't believe how much they fit into this tiny bar. DJs, live music, and exhibitions; a good mix of people and allegedly Liv Tyler named her son after this Bar!
The Reliance
76–78 North St, LS2 7PN
www.the-reliance.co.uk
If you don't know Leeds that well, you won't know the Reliance bar. Five minutes walk from the top of town, it's worth the venture. Super relaxed atmosphere, good food and better beer. A favourite amongst the arty types!

The Cross Keys

A stones throw from the Midnight bell - these bar-pub hybrids complement each other perfectly. Recently named one of the best summer pubs in the UK by The Observer and Best Sunday Lunch in the Observer Food Monthly; the Cross Keys is well worth a visit.
