What is Bon Voy Go There about?
Travel mainly. Well, that's what I intended it to be about but it does tend to deviate from time to time.

How did Bon Voy Go There come about and how long has it been up and running?
I've always had a love affair with travelling. So when I found myself unemployed and dangerously bored I thought, why not? It's been running only for a few months and kind of spiralled out of control. One day I was putting up old photos of places I've been, and then it suddenly turned into hotel openings and other fun things - meeting a mix of very serious and very creative people. Now I'm finally managing to justify the vast amounts of time I spend on the Internet - I'm very fortunate.

As your blog is about travel, let's find out what kind of traveller you are...

Do you travel light, or are you a bring everything including the kitchen sink type of traveller?
I always plan to take a limited amount as I'm a big budget airline supporter, but it always turns into a load of rubbish like 18 belts and a jigsaw puzzle. The amount of times me and security have had a bit of a run in. "Is this your bag? Is this your Battenberg cake?" Yes, yes it is.

Travel essentials:
Camera and trustworthy paracetamol.

What do you never leave home without?
I'm rather unorganised when it comes to things I actually need. I don't think I've ever left home being properly prepared for anything.

Favourite place that you've visited?
That's hard one but probably Berlin (I'm sure most people who've been would agree). However, I've got a major soft spot for Stockholm, even if it is just so I can spend my days leering at good-looking people.

If money were no object, where would you like to go in the whole wide world?
I guess if you had unlimited money, New York would be the best place just to spend vast amounts of time - milling around and living the dream. I was there for one night on a stopover flight. In "the city that never sleeps" I was in bed with a migraine at 8pm - I'm so hardcore it hurts sometimes.

OK, so how about some non-related travel questions...

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be and why?
Learn more languages. I really, REALLY wish I had the right type of brain to do it. It just takes me back to high school where I was the worst person in the world at German. I have been trying, going to classes and doing my homework etc. It's a slow progress so when I hear those stories about people learning Icelandic in a week it makes me want to punch them really hard in the face.

An oldie but a goodie of a question - If you could have any super power what would it be and why?
Oh, the possibilities! Wouldn't it be great to be a shape shifter? No, no... Read people's minds. Final answer.

Dream job?
This is the toughest question. I really don't want to think about it too much. Imagine if the Internet is still around in 50 years time and I'll reminisce over this interview and I realise I'm sitting in an armchair with loads of scabby cats having achieved nothing. I'll take whatever comes my way!

What's next for Bon Voy Go There / Alice?
Keep going I guess, plodding along - I'm not one to turn down a free hotel room. I'm still incredibly grateful for what has happened in such a short space of time.
