Describe Dublin in 3 words:
Pubs, bikes and parks.
What do you love about the city?
You can get almost anywhere in 20 minutes, so you never miss meeting your friends.
Which is your favourite part of Dublin and why?
I love it around the Liberties/ Tenters/ Blackpitts (it goes by a few different names depending on who you are talking to). It's old Dublin, the streets are a bit of a maze and all the houses are all assorted -'pick n mix' styles. There is a cool monthly flea market
and weekly farmers markets. I have my work space there in South Studios, and recently found out my great great - maybe great again - grandfather used to live there and work a horse and cart to sell coal. Slick.
What would be an ideal day for you in Dublin when you are not working?
A run in the Phoenix Park, picnic lunch on the canal, movie in the IFI cinema, drinks in the Long hall and dancing at Assquake.
IFI - www.irishfilm.ie | The Long Hall - 51 South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2 | Assquake - www.myspace.com/assquake
Most memorable moment in Dublin:
First kiss in front of Lemon on South William Street. Awh.
What's the weirdest thing that has happened to you or that you've seen in Dublin?
New Years Eve and a guy with his shirt off standing in the middle of Camden Street swinging a massive chain and roaring his head off like a Viking.
Hmmm strange indeed...
