Dr Martens
During the 1960s something truly great happened - an unlikely union of Munich's Dr. Klaus Maertens and an English family based in Northampton. Together they made hard wearing and classically designed boots that saw the birth of the Dr. Marten's brand. Adopted by various subcultures from skinheads to mods, the brand soon became synonymous with youth culture and rebellion. These days you don't have to be a rebellious teen to enjoy the famous airwair comfort of Dr. Martens as they themselves believe that the best form of rebellion is individualism - so be yourself in a pair of DMs.
